Don’t take a beginner’s mindset. Take An Expert Mindset.
Look for and see the patterns nobody else does. Probe. Instigate. Investigate.
Said that, be curious and approach things without judgement -i guess this is what most people refer to when they talk of “a beginner’s mindset”.
Being expert / having expertise is a responsibility:
• To not take things for granted
• To be critical
• To ask the right questions (and you can only do that by taking an expert mindsett)
• To challenge your own beliefs
• To be more aware of your biases.
See the context, make the right assessment and minimize the risk on the set of decisions to take. Only taking that expert’s mindset, you’ll be able to do that.
